     FROM THE BOARD: SUMMER 2017

     

    TIDEWATER BOARD is asking that members make an effort to park OFF-STREET.  The on-street parking on Bridgeport Ln has caused problems for Garbage pickup, school bus navigation, and mail delivery.  We are asking Madison Code Enforcement to assist us in limiting on-street parking throughout our neighborhood. 

    In an effort to assist, where there is a real parking problem, THE BOARD WILL MAKE COMMON AREA B AVAILABLE FOR ACCCESSARY PARKING

     

    COMMON AREA PARKING

    Tidewater Association owns 2.12 acres located on the east boundary of the association (common area B). If you wish to use this area for parking, we ask

    1. That you sign a liability waiver; and

    2.  maintain the area that you park in. 

    We are basically talking boats, trailers, etc. which would free up your driveway, garages.

     

    GARBAGE CANS UNSIGHTLY

    We are requesting that all members remove garbage cans and recycle bins from the street promptly after pickup has occurred.  City Ordinance prohibits leaving them out.  In fact city ordinance prohibits placing garbage cans or recycle bins to the street prior to 6PM on the evening pror to garbage pickup.

    Madison, the City gives excellent assistance to our neighborhood association through Ordinance Enforcement.  For city code violations call:  (601) 856-6336.

    If you see lawns or property needing grooming and/or repairs, Please contact code enforcement.  This includes uncut lawns and houses in disrepair.
